Replacement for transistor 0308330-2/2SD315?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but I searched the board and did not find an answer.

I am going to replace all eight power transistors on my Sansui QRX 6001. The service manual refers to them as Stock No. 0308330-2, Description 2SD315.

I looked around and 0308330-2 means nothing. 2SD315 comes up as an obsolete part number. The replacement is given as NTE175. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/NTE175

Is this true? Is the NTE 175 an acceptable replacement for the 2SD315?
