TRANSLATED:

Another nugget from the Rolling Stones catalog will be revisited from top to bottom: the classic 1973 album, "Goats Head Soup," which will arrive on September 4.

The album will be released in a variety of formats, including a quadruple CD and a vinyl box, and will feature previously unpublished stdio and live material.

For pre-orders, it's here.

This reissue comes after the success of the brand new song "Living In A Ghost Town" and their performance noticed on the title "You Can’t Always Get What You Want" in April, during the concert "One World: Together at Home."

In these boxes, you will find ten bonus tracks, including alternative versions, non-final takes and three complete unreleased tracks. The first excerpt is titled "Criss Cross," and will be available to you upon pre-order.

Among the nice surprises of this reissue, we will also find this collaboration with Jimmy Page on guitar and Rick Grech of Blind Faith on bass, on the title "Scarlet," and the third new, "All The Rage."

In this new collection, our attention was also drawn to "Brussels Affair," a live album of 15 tracks recorded during a memorable concert in autumn 1973 in Belgium, just after the album's release at the end August. Mixed by Bob Clearmountain, the live was already released in bootleg version only in 2012.

During the Brussels show, they played "Tumbling Dice," "Midnight Rambler," "Jumping Jack Flash" and many others, with a series of extracts from this tenth album then freshly released. We will also note "Star Star," "Dancing With Mr. D," "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)" and "Angie" in the setlist.

This is an album I bought on release when I was young and broke, so it got played to excess, to where I burned out on it.
Haven't spun it in over 40 years, always change the station if Angie comes on the radio.

With the ability to skip tracks, I'm all in on this in 5.1.
I remember Johnny Winter put Silver Train on an album way before this came out, always liked his version better.

Thought this was an apt quote:
Stephen Thomas Erlewine
"Sliding out of perhaps the greatest winning streak in rock history, the Stones slipped into decadence and rock star excess with Goats Head Soup...
This is where the Stones' image began to eclipse their accomplishments, as Mick ascended to jet-setting celebrity and Keith slowly sunk deeper into addiction, and it's possible hearing them moving in both directions on Goats Head Soup, at times in the same song"
