According to the main store in Portland for new releases, Music Millennium, due out tomorrow are two Smashing Pumpkin CD/DVD-audio packages, "Gish" and "Siamese Dream". Has anybody heard of these? I'll certainly check them out.

Remove the dash between "DVD" and "Audio" there. The DVD's contain a live show each, not a surround mix. "Gish" could really use the remaster, though. :)

currently listening to this 5.1 DVD

sounds pretty good

I think it's the only official non-live SP 5.1 release??

I just bought a new copy for $10 shipped. Thanks salsdali for resurrecting this thread.

The early Pumpkins is by far my favorite rendition of the band. In particular, I really like Gish with all its raw emotion and energy. I road tripped to Bloomington-Normal IL to see them at a small club on this tour. My brother was going to college there at the time.
