I have a question about this release. I just got this and I'm trying to rip it. Why is it I can only see lower definition versions of both the 2.0 and 5.1 versions than is supposed to be on this disc? Everything seems to be only at 48Kb and at best I'm seeing only around one fifth the information on what shows as a 5GB DVD.

You would need to state what program you are using to rip this. DVD-Audio Extractor is what many in this form use.

Also you'll find that there are forums within this forum that address ripping and conversions, and software, and players, etc. Have a look around, take your time reading, and then post questions when you feel you are up to speed.

Welcome to the QQ forums.

Well, good news is through trial and error I managed to figure out that DVD Audio Extractor was able to do the trick. The problem really is that in the past I've always used MakeMKV and that has worked great and it's usually pretty good at seeing everything that's on the disc even DVD-As; something about this particular one is somehow different. One way or another DVD-Audio Extractor was able find what appears to be at least the BEST titles on the disc though still not all of them which solves my problem well enough.

I did look around for something on this issue but couldn't find anything pertaining to ripping DVD-As. This forum has already helped me very much in the department of ripping SACDs and like I mentioned, MakeMKV has always worked quite well for me in the past with Audio Blu ray and other DVD-As that I've tried; just something different about this one for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the insight.
