So, I'm inspired by a post from @BPWingN on another thread. His comment was something to the effect of.......do you ever hear a song that simply grabs you emotionally and gives a body rush. Man oh man. Hold me back......

I'm simply a massive Scorps fan, and to date, there are few bands that have grabbed me in the gut emotionally....but the Scorps are at the top for me.

I am a big Scorpions fan as well , my favorites are more like: In trance, Holiday, No one like you.

Great thread!! May I offer a few? Elton John’s “Come Down In Time”
https://www.google.com/search?q=come down in time
and his “Where To Now St. Peter?”
https://www.google.com/search?q=where to now st peter
The Left Banke’s “Pretty Ballerina”
https://www.google.com/search?q=pretty ballerina song
Also check out Diana Krall’s “Dancing In The Dark” ESPECIALLY starting at the 4:00 minute mark! (Don’t cheat- listen to the whole song to feel the mood- if this does not create a “ body rush” you may not be human) 😊

I’m a big LiPuma fan; just a huge important legacy as producer!

Wow, Left Banke! How is it I've never heard of them. Awesome...remind me a "bit" of Love.

That last video is what I'm talking about....when Bruce & Frampton are jamming head to head, I just get the shivers...every time. Amazing...

After serving four years growing up fast in the Air Force; I was finally free. Had drove all the way on I-80 by myself headed back home from my station in Omaha NE. I had a bunch of cassette tapes in my car to keep me company.

Finally made it to the California border in the high Sierra’s and I’d just dialed in a radio station when this song came on. I’ll never forget that feeling; just magical, it was 1978.

Would you believe I got to meet both Tommy and Diana here in Cleveland as they dined together at a local restaurant on the eve of her weekend concert!!?? Tommy is Cleveland’s native son, and I am rightfully proud of it . We’ve named an entire college building and it’s recording studio after him and his wife Gill. If you’d like to read a very heartwarming story about Tommy and his Cleveland legacy, please click on this link:

Frampton is an under appreciated guitarist.

If you don’t have this Bowie Glass Spider Tour DVD. Frampton is on this tour with Carlos Alomar; always enjoyed this show. Just too bad the sound isn’t great, but get it for the performance.
