Since Halloween is right around the corner, I was taking out some of my vinyl movie soundtracks to make CD compilations out of. I pulled out my old Japanese release of Halloween. The top of the sleeve states "Spacesizer 360 system recording". It may be a stretch, but is this any type of Quad recording?

It probably isn't, but wouldn't it be cool if it were?

After a Google search I found this:

Spacesizer 360 by Intelligent music Laboratory

and:

Both from a Japanese Web site.

I'm just guessing but, it's possible that Spacesizer may just be a funky name for one of the many ways of recording music so that more than just stereo is extracted by the playback system.

Due to the lack of search engine hits it's obvious the format never caught on.

This link shows a picure of the record or CD or whatever it is:

A UseNet newsgroup search didn't find anything.

Sheeesh!!!! Even obscure weird stuff gets at least a page or more of search engine hits. That Spacizer thing must be really obscure!!!!!
