Hmm...Think about Bob Dylan, and also Blue Oyster Cult...take a break...then listen to Adventure. Source quality matters, and play it loud.
Or the opposite...listen to Top 40 radio of today....then listen to Marquee Moon.

Quite the band including Herb Ellis, Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson.
Really nice live recording.
