Cooper Brothers - Learning To Live With It

Great Canadian band with a Southern/Country Rock sound.
Really fun album, these guys shoulda been bigger.
This is the 4th, and last, album release on the short lived Salt label, formed by Sylvia Tyson

Big Wha-Koo

Mid 70’s California band, best known member probably David Palmer ex of Steely Dan. They shortened the name to Wha-Koo for their 2nd and 3rd albums.
Either way, have no idea what the name means.
Non descript forgettable soft rock on Side 1, the second side picks up quite a bit and saves the album.

Model Shop - Spirit

Legendary Profile - Modern Jazz Quartet

In San Francisco - Joan Baez Fantasy mono LP
Discogs says "unofficial," which seems odd given that Fantasy is a legit label. No doubt Joan, Vanguard Records and her management didn't sanction this.

Gary O’ - Gary O’

Gary O’Connor’s first album from ‘81.
Nicely recorded commercial rock, nothing heavy. “All the Young Heroes” probably the best known track.
There was a lot of great Cancon back in the ‘75 to ‘85 time frame

we should start a "FIRST (maybe second too) PRESSING" thread..
there ain't nothing like EARLY pressings!!!
Just listening to Joan Manuel Serrat's " Mi Niñez" LP which I think is HIS Masterpiece... one of those that moves me deeply!

just got a weird early pressing.. I also do have a late 80s LP pressing and it really is NOT the same!

Introducing the Beatles Vee-Jay 2ch LP
...
I was SOOOO thrilled when a distant aunt of mine gave me during the late 70s the OTHER Vee-Jay title from The Beatles... really weird finding that they had ANOTHER label besides EMI/Capitol... .. it still has the price tag from a dept store that went south about 30 years ago....
and , of course , that was my CRASH COURSE on their MONO mixes... they were quite different!

You NEED this, Gene! If you don't have any Chambers Brothers, get the Greatest. Both are great listens, beginning to end.

Chambers Brothers Greatest has the full unedited version of Time Has Come Today:

The Time Has Come is the original LP. It also has the unedited version:

There is a CD compilation also called Time Has Come. It has both edited versions, but not the unedited.

There are 3 versions of the song Time:
1- original unedited
2- edited single from above
3- Single take 1-early take w/radically different version

The Sergio album has been a fave since my dad bought in the 60’s. I have the stereo version and play it all the time.

One of Mendes' best albums. I also bought the 2ch LP and a Japan CD. 2ch LP is my most played copy. I found this mono LP at a record store on Lincoln ave. I believe it is a foldover mix.

Always bought 2ch LP's, Quad if available. Have collected mono LP's and CD's in recent years for differences. The only LP's where I prefer mono are versus electronically rechanneled stereo. Two channels of slop.
