a sense of irony in this...trying to get one of the "cleanest" masterings and pressings for one of Rock's dirtiest sounding LPs (OK, "Kings and Queens" sounds great , though...but oh, "DtL"!!!)
Anyway , sounds really great, you can hear all its dirt in full Japanese QC glory!...

but where do you Draw The Line ?

Heritage Hum - James Moody caught sax master Moody live in Orlando, FL. He had played with Dizzy for many years and played with Miles. A couple days later, he remembered us being at the show when we ran into him at airport. We hung, chatted and traded jazz clips on our "personal portables" while waiting for our respective flights. His earworm was Brecker Bros' latest. Mine was Oregon's latest. A fond memory for a stone jazz fan.

40+ years for the Lee Michaels, that’s quite the search. Must be a great feeling to finally have it.
The only LM I don’t have, maybe I’ll stumble on a copy someday

BTW - the BluSpec CD version is fairly clean. Just sayin.........
it don't get any prettier than the Japanese pressing, have heard stuff I had never heard in the USA LP version (and I have TWO early pressings) or the 90's 20bit remaster CD...drop me a line if you want to take this further (I must admit I am married and I am straight! ;) )
