Okay, it turns out 1980 is a GREAT year to be stuck in! Here's another KILLER release from another British trio. This one also comes with a bonus 45. So GOOD! And the SM v.2 is doing its job!

1980 is a black year for me my mother unexpectedly died and I lost touch with most music for a few years
I want to say I picked up a copy of All Mod Cons at a thrift store but cant recall if I listened to it or not.....

Man, i'm sorry for your loss. It really resonates with me–grief and losing touch with music; plus, my parents are on the ropes now. . . . All Mod Cons is a great one. So is the next album, Setting Sons. Then came Sound Affects. Quite the trinity of excellence, imo. Saw them live after Sound Affects. They were phenomenal! Stay Surrounded, Comrade!

took me a WHILE to get into Da Poleece back then and by the time I did they were into GitM time... I really liked this one though in spite of the silly songs and them playing them to DEATH!

I'm still enjoying my trip back to 1980 . . . especially when i see what some of these slabs are going for on discogs! I got into the habit of recording my vinyl to cassette tapes, so most of my LPs are NM! Btw, this sounds GREAT through the SM v.2!
