I can't be the only one looking forward to this release. My BR copy is coming from the UK so won't get it for another 3 more weeks. I saw SH with his band on Oct.11 and what a fantastic show, loved everything about is as they played the whole "Selling England by the Pound" album as well as SH solo stuff.
The set list for the Orchestra version is very good and here are a few reviews that I read to pass the time till getting my copy.

Simply stunning.....will have to order a copy. Bullmoose has a 4 disc set listed with 2 RBCDs/1 DVD/1 BD~V for $23. Is that the correct set? https://www.bullmoose.com/p/3218936...evisited-band-orchestra-live-2-cd-dvd-blu-ray

All Hackett's past live release doesn't have a discrete 5.1 mix. (except one or two) Only occasional guitar part in the rears, I would be surprised that they did something different this time.

Completely agree with all the previous comment about the mix...There isn't one.....grr
Reverb and echo rears its ugly head again. Oh and peeps clapping.

Mixed by Benedict Fenner!! ( not a name I've come across before)

Great music and show, so that helps put some of the disappointment to bed.

Going to see him at Portsmouth Guildhall on Nov 13th...with bro.

For some reason the Sony 800X didn't find the disc...

Plays fine on my Cambridge Azur...

Very Strange...

So after playing through the concert on the Azur, I tried again on the Sony 800X and....
It's fine.....Huh???

Ooh Well

Personally, I found this a bit disappointing.. I have all of Steve’s live DVDs, and while I love the orchestra on this one, I found the mix to be muddy and the photography to be quite low standard. There are lots of jerky camera shots, and the black level on some of the cameras, especially the one facing the stage, is set too high, and the difference in black levels is jarring when it switches from camera to camera. As far as the sound mix, there is no surround mix per se, it is just stereo with audience clapping in the rears, and the drums are mixed so low, especially during Shadow of the Hierophant, during which Gary O’Toole does some amazing drum work, but you can barely hear it.. unless Steve steps up the production level on these live videos, I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore
