oh , hell yeah, this LP has some awesome faux surround capabilities, it sounds discrete! OOTB is not as good but still quite good...Jeff used to put all things out of phase on the mix...wheeeeeee!

I think A New World Record is one the the best albums ever made by anyone. It is my favourite album of all time, and I live in hope that one day a multi channel high resolution release will emerge.

I know of them, but have none of their albums (as far as I can remember! ) they were more of my younger brothers 'generation' and he's now a sprightly 62

I have the self titled Echo and the Bunnymen (which I quite like) & the following album Reverberation (not so much). Well before the Net it was impossible to know full discography. I thought the former album was their first but insted it was more like their 5th or 6th.

It's always fun to see what @Clement has spinning on the 'ol TT. Most often for me it falls into 2 categories. Something I know very well & probably bought new in 1970 something. Or so obscure that I don't even know the album much less the band.

I remember (and really like) the song 'The Cutter'. I must 'youtube' it through the SM sometime.

I was listening to the brand new SACD ripped of Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic", and when it ended, my ROON Radio went to this album, from 1979. If you like Steely Dan, you will luv this album by Dr. Strut!

Right!? For me, it's somewhere in the middle, after I Robot, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, Eye in the Sky, and The Turn of a Friendly Card. . . . Man, he put out a LOT of great music!

I've written in other threads how much i LOVE these 45 rpm 2 LP releases. And i already knew this one would sound SPECTACULAR through the Surround Master. But, DAYUM! I was not prepared for just HOW SPECTACULAR! L.A. Woman has never sounded BETTER! I picked this one up brand new for a steal because of the slight ding in the upper lefthand corner!

No offense to Involve Audio...I've been really enjoying my Surround Master for the last 3 or 4 evening listening journeys. I went to fuss with the level control for whatever reason, and realized I'd actually had the QSD-1 switched in, and forgotten.

I was convinced I had never heard Taylor Swift's Reputation sound better than through my Surround Master...LMAO.
