Superscope

Hi, I have a Superscope QRT440 receiver with an 8 track player. Is there anyone familiar with this unit? Will it play quad 8 tracks? It has an 4 channel output on the rear and I was thinking about running it through a Sansui 7001. Any thoughts or information is appreciated. Thanks!

I have just looked at the pictures on the other one sold on ebay and it looks like you can use those "tape outs" as a feed to go into your QRX 7001 aux inputs,give it a try! I have no specs on the tape portion of this receiver, but I do on their add on cartridge player(TD-4 . I do believe they probably put the same unit into this receiver. The specs for the TD-48 are frequency response 50-10,000 hz,(S+N)/N-48. I hope this helps. BILL

Today I played my first quad 8 track. The Superscope unit is hooked into a Sansui QRX 7001. It certainly sounds like discreet quad to me. Just FYI
