We published instructions on removing the front panel and knobs to gain access to the front PCB HERE:
New Surround Master v2 - Pre-Order Roster Discussion Thread

Its a pain in the arse but it would be easier to paint over the LED's with err um probably a black???? or its surface mount resistor time with a microscope

They are all on the front panel, recon you would need to use in excess of 10K as the eye is very logarithmic

Just as an update, I am happy to report that I've had no problems with the LED's on my SMv2 since replacing the front board in late November 2019.

replacement panel received today and installed. I'm pleased to advise all LEDs are now present and accounted for.

I'll return the old panel and the screwdriver thingy in the post tomorrow.

I'm currently giving Steely Dan - The definitive collection a run through it now. Sounds great.
