Couldn't resist a little Halloween 4K fun!

This is a MAJOR upgrade on ALL fronts, but since this thread is for Surround Movies, let me just say the zombies are coming at me from all over the place! Total immersion and the bass through my subwoofer is rocking the place! The effects build throughout and the soundtrack really comes alive (well, in an undead kind of way!) in the final scenes. It's a new DTS X mix and it's loads of fun--just like the film!

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) BD:
1. I haven't watched this for years but gave it a Halloween spin. Great flick, freaky atmosphere, good fun.
2. Great picture restoration. Tons of extras on BD too.
3. The 7.1 Dolby TrueHD (5.1 at my place) was surprisingly discrete with a respectable amount of surround action going on. Would be good if other mono upgrades were given this level of treatment. Just shows to go what can be done when they get their act together.

Night Falls on Manhattan (1996) BD:
1. 5.1 DTS-MA but there's next to nothing coming from the rears. Some decent lows courtesy of Mark Isham's score though.
2. Not a bad Lumet earnest cop/lawyer drama from the 90's that I hadn't seen before. Could be seen as a companion to Serpico.
3. Image is really good.
4. Here's a link if you're keen (pricey - I picked mine up on sale here in NZ): https://www.amazon.com/Night-Falls-Manhattan-Blu-ray-Garcia/dp/B08BDYHR9Y

I am happy to report that the recent Francis Ford Coppola restoration of THE COTTON CLUB, IMO, is SPECTACULAR and unless Lionsgate plans a Native 4K release, is the definitive version at present. Coppola added about 27 minutes of restored footage, mostly spectacular musical numbers and tightened up the pacing considerably. At AmazonUS' asking price of $9.99, a NO BRAINER! AUDIO and VIDEO QUALITY are STUNNING!

Just happened to peruse blu.ray.com @ 3~5 AM and Black Friday is starting EARLY. These are usually FLASH deals so you have to act fast. Notice most are UHD4K! Links to AmazonUS are supplied on website!

Just followed link for Joker. Amazon claims it's only DD 5.1? That simply cannot be right. What is it? Does it have Atmos?
