Just found this thread; and was shocked to see only 3 posts in the last 12 years and all by you!
Do you subscribe to Jazzgroove, and do you know details about this station; like country of origin, size of their music library, and examples of their content?
I have only listened to the Bill Brent shows, which IIRC are mainly QS encoded and not discrete per say, but effective through a Surround Master.

No, I don't have a subscription, but I listened to Jazzgroove free in stereo, and I can only say it is laid-back jazz. Very laid-back. They write somewhere on their website that not all material in their library is genuinely multi-channel, therefore they upmix stereo material as well.
