I am seriously considering dumping Tapatalk. They are adding more ads and I've been reading that they are serious user trackers and if it didn't annoy a lot of you I'd like to dump it. The new forum software works pretty well on mobile devices natively, so let me hear from you Tapatalk users that you really think it's worth it.

It really is annoying to me that they insert ads into our forum for their own benefit when I have worked hard to keep ads and crap like that out of this forum.

Let me know and vote

I stopped using it long time ago, as the app on my phone drained its battery. It won't be missed at all

I found Tapatalk confusing and not as easy to use as the website on my phone and tablet. I feel the same way with any website that also has an app associated with it. My preference is to surf the website the way I am used to on my PC.

i just fired it up on my iPad to see if I was hallucinating about seeing ads. Here's what I see, and then pop ups to "allow" me to pay to get rid of the ads!
I have to admit it's a slick interface, and I am sure they deserve to make money, but to me it looks like the ads are PART OF THE FORUM, and not associated with Tapatalk.

Have a look:

And another thing I don't like and I wish I knew how to fix, but when links are made to the forum in Facebook, like over at the ELS Web page where I have been posting about getting the surround to work in the new ELS system, they created a post pointing people to QQ, but Facebook put the huge Tapatalk logo next to the post.

WTF is up with THAT??

I've found it to be great to use on a Tablet, so I voted "yes" to missing it. The ads I found relatively unintrusive.

HOWEVER

I can live with the mobile site.

If it's annoying people and/or no one is using it, dump it with extreme prejudice. Yeeshkull dumped it because of the problems it was causing them, and this is the only forum I've used on Tapatalk. It's not a big deal.
