Interesting yes, but I just can't imagine how this would sound, watering down the definition of the original source material?

I've come across those many times while searching for "Technics SH" on Jauce and Buyee (in search of SH-400's, SH-3433's, and SH-3480's and 3580's), and some day I'll pick one up to see what it is they actually do.

After thinking about this for a bit, I can think of a scenario for use; listening to some simple instrumentation to create more of a live cathedral sound. I'm thinking of music like the piano works of Michael Whalen etc.
