7. Like most Epic Quads, it has a nice mix. Tracks vary in quality. Dog eat dog is awesome!

A '7' here: good mix for a rock album, but as always with Ted, uneven songs. Imagination was never his strong suit as a writer, though his playing's a lot of fun and certainly never anything less than enthusiastic. And given that Meat Loaf was soon to become a name in his own right, interesting to hear for that alone.

I'll agree, quite uneven material, but a great trip down memory lane...
I actually got into Ted during his Double Live Gonzo (which I bought on LP) when I heard "Cat scratch fever" on the radio while I was in a HiFi store next to my parents's store (it was playing on the station I later went to work as a DJ, "Radio Heavy").

(EDIT: gave it an eight..good mix-nothing out of the ordinary, but "Eddie"/Meatloaf boosts it one point!)

Just got a conversion of this what a mixed bag, some songs are absolute classics : Free For All , Dog Eat Dog , I Love You So I told You A Lie, and then some mediocrity and worse, Mix is decent, sonics also fair to good , over all 7
