This thing definitely does exactly what is supposed to do.

All of the information is very evenly separated and no matter how many outputs are plugged in, it seems to handle all of the heavy thinking very well.

The calibration button is a great feature that allows quick adjustment. Some albums/songs are mixed differently and this button makes keeping it all dialed in very simple.

Can anyone speak technically about what would happen if I plugged a stereo source into the proton sd-1000, then only connected the front stereo right left output to the stereo input of a sansui qsd-1, then connected the four outputs of the qsd-1 to the amplifier...
But!..... also. What if I connect the sub woofer output if the proton Sd-1000 direct to the sub woofer.


My brain has melted.
