The most amazing thing about Malachi Corley dropping that ball: It was going to be his very first NFL touchdown. One would think that Corley would hang onto that ball for dear life, stuff it into his jock strap, and never let it go until he got home.

Yes, even if the Jets miraculously manage to win out, they will fall in the Wild Card game. The emotional collapse after managing to pull something off like that will just be too much for them to go any further. Regardless, they would be hailed for a great season, expectations for next season would be high, and they would fall apart yet again.

However, there are several things that will prevent them from winning out this season:

1) Randomness: On any given Sunday...
2) Field goal kicker: Zuerlein is on IR (because he was playing lousy) and they are using two other untested guys right now
3) Injuries
4) Rookie head coach...who is now handling two jobs
5) 94 year-old Joe Flacco and Geno Smith will be out to get even
6) The Curse of Rex Ryan (If they need to win in week 18 to get into the playoffs, The Rex Hex will make sure they don't)
7) In the final analysis, they are The NY Jets

There is nothing that Aaron Rodgers, even turned back into peak form, can do to overcome these factors.

Big win! Now I can see the Jets 'maybe' going 11-6... That ought to get you in the playoffs!
Just watch out if Rodgers starts with the platitudes & spelling words out (.... r-e-l-a-x) . Then it's a lock!
...for some reason, often times @ GB, he would be digging his team out of a big early season hole.
As far as I can recall, it always worked! He has an odd sort of motivation thing going....
Seriously, if the Jets can win the next few, they could have some real momentum

Yes. And Rex Ryan was the coach; and the Jets haven't been back to the playoffs since. A couple of years later when Rex coached the Bills, the Jets needed a win against them on the last game of season. Buffalo won in convincing fashion thereby keeping the Jets out of the playoffs. One of @LuvMyQuad and @JohnN 's fun moments.

GB/Detroit: If the weather is real bad it helps Packers some but I still think Lions win. We will beat you but it will be the game @ on Dec. 5th @ Detroit!
Was talking to a good friend of mine he also thinks GB losses.
GB's 4 game win streak comes to an end... During v that span GB has won by 5, 2 & 3 points. I just hope the packers don't embarrass themselves too bad.
