We just saw it last night with friends who came from Sweden. Amazing show though all are sworn to secrecy. Chunneling today to Paris, then Finland, Oslo, and 2 weeks in Sweden. Longest vacation since.......college!
A blurry photo of Todd Rundgren & Daryl Hall last night at Foxwoods Casino in CT. Both still in pretty good shape for guys in their mid 70's. They did individual sets, both backed by the Daryl's House band. They joined forces for the encore. [SPOILERS AHEAD!] Happily, neither did a set that was just the hits. Todd pulled out some deep cuts like "Unloved Children" and "Sometimes I Don't Know What to Feel" while Daryl played several cuts from his solo albums. Very psyched to hear "Babs & Babs" from Daryl's Sacred Songs album, which for those of you who don't know was produced by Robert Fripp. (For the Krimson fans, if you haven't heard it, you should find it. Fripp considers it part of a trilogy with his Exposure album and Peter Gabriel's second album). Daryl also did a sweet cover of Eurythmics' "Hear Comes the Rain Again". He mentioned that he just finished recording a new album that Dave Stewart is producing. He also mentioned that a new season of Live From Daryl's House will be airing soon and said that Robert Fripp will be the guest on one episode. Should be interesting.
For sure, can't wait to see/hear them.
Thanks for this post. I am heading to Wimbledon this Summer and had already started considering going to this show.

What a top bloke he is.
Saw Cold Play's show in Cardiff, on Tuesday.
Firstly, the 2 hour show was utterly breath taking.
Secondly, they had a guest join them, Kelly Jones, Stereophonic.
Last but possibly the best moment, was when Chris chose a lad in the crowd to join him on stage as he saw his sign which said he lost his best friend recently.
They sang together and Chris asked him about his friend...he only passed away a month ago!!
Everyone was in total shock and disbelief. Including Chris.
Not a dry eye in the house.
Cold Play are just made for big arena's.
Cardiffs Principality Staduim was bursting at the seams with the audience singing along to every number.
What a night.

Every stadium is always oversubscribed.
When you see the show, you can see why.
I was lucky to get tickets, don't know what it's like in the states but here you really have to crunch the numbers quickly to get a chance of getting them.
A case in point being I just managed to get 2 tickets today to see The Falcons play the Jaguars at Wembley, in October, this year. Had to jump through plenty of hoops to secure them. And they ain't cheap either.
First live NFL game.
Been watching on the TV since 1984.
A treat for my son. Even if he is a Packers fan!!

because Ed (the same song ) Sheeran was playing 3 nights at the Principality Stadium and the traffic queues getting into Wales let alone Cardiff were horrendous. I'd didn't particularly worry as I thought well I'll see him next tour, did the same with Led Zep in '79

I went with my two brothers to see The Aristocrats at the Fleece in Bristol last night, it was sold out, the venue are allowed to have 450 in, and it was packed. The band played for 2 hours from 8-10, so I got home just gone midnight (an 80-ish mile drive each way, apart from the extra due to closed roads because of roadworks).
A brilliant gig, the band were on form and very funny, Guthrie Govan is an amazing guitarist (Steve Via meets Jeff Beck?), as is Bryan Beller on Bass and Macro Minnemann on Drums (a listenable & watchable very long drum solo). I loved the track 'inspired by' Judas Priest but with as they said with bits in 15/16! The musicianship was brilliant (as to be expected) and they came off stage visibly exhausted, its incredible to see them play with 100% levels of concentration, yet the tracks are still very musical. Worth seeing on their tour if you can.

BOOOORIIIINGGGG... and yes, after that they played PF Animals and Beatles Tomorrow never knows but , my back was killing me and I FORGOT MY EARPLUGS!!!!...anyway, I was extremely pleased with Adrian Belew's version of "Thela Hun Ginjeet" with the Talking Heads band....percussionist, brass section, background singers...THE WHOLE SHEBANG!!!!!... as it SHOULD BE!
