The Rolling Stones’ groundbreaking multi-platinum selling album Let It Bleed was released in late 1969, charting at #1 in the UK and #3 in the US. The Rolling Stones, at this point already a critically and commercially dominant force, composed and recorded their eighth long player (tenth for the U.S.) amidst both geopolitical and personal turmoil. The second of four Rolling Stones albums made with producer Jimmy Miller (Traffic, Blind Faith), Let It Bleed perfectly captures the ominous spirit of the times with “Gimme Shelter,” the opening track. The 2019 remaster has been engineered by eleven-time Grammy®-winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig.

Let It Bleed (50th Anniversary Limited Deluxe Edition) includes the remastered album in Stereo and Mono on both vinyl and Hybrid SACD, and a reproduction of the 1969 7” mono single of “Honky Tonk Women”/ ”You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” in a picture sleeve. The box set also comes with three 12” x 12” hand-numbered replica-signed lithographs printed on embossed archival paper, a full-color 23” x 23” poster with restored art from the original 1969 Decca Records package, and an 80 page hardcover book with never-before-seen photos by the band’s tour photographer Ethan Russell and an essay by journalist David Fricke.

What's Wrong With This Picture ........EVERYTHING .........I'd gladly spring for a Japanese 2 SACD set [Mono/Stereo] in 7" packaging as per previous STONE reissues......

Ordered the Bullmoose SACD stereo -- 17 bucks, including shipping (!!!).

Awesome, I have the earlier SACD, but what the hey :phones

I just hope it's on the level ......they do state stand alone SACD Stereo [probably remastered by Bob Ludwig] and I will likewise order it even though I have the original ABKCO Stereo SACD and I believe, the Japanese SHM~SACD.

If it's not on the level, I'm sure we can return it (which involves levels of difficulty that will make it not worth it , sigh).

Assuming it's ON THE LEVEL, I did pre~order both it and In The Court of The Crimson King [3 CDs/BD~A] ...... and what I love about the MOOSE .... NO SALES TAX and free s/h over $30 orders. But they did state: Stand alone Stereo 1 SACD!

Goody, Goody for you Mr. S. And my last order with the Moose was another money saving journey and their free economy shipping is anything BUT.....my UHD4K Casino arrived in a nice sturdy cardboard box, priority 2 day mail!

And yeah, those MOOSE POINTS and NO SALES TAX makes the pot even sweeter! Not to mention you saved a few bucks on credit card fees for international purchases!

The chance of seeing this album in any kind of true surround sound in our lifetimes is about zero. Of course, we can always pray that someone manages to get hold of the multitracks and produce a fan-based 5.1. I'll pass on this one. Hope avid Stones fans/collectors enjoy it, though.

I have the blu ray audio (stereo only) and if I recall correctly it sounds pretty good. I wonder if the new remaster will be an improvement. If the reviews indicate that to be so, I will be in for a stand-alone SACD, especially at that price.

Yeah I believe your right about the Blu-Ray audio for this title; but the DR numbers on the Blu-Ray GRRR! release were shockingly low; I’ll need to check if the labels were different. Seems, the newer the songs; the worse the DR got.
