Thoughts on Rear Channel

I am in the planning stages of installing in-wall speakers in my living room. What are your thoughts on Bipole Speakers?

As near as I can tell bi-pole speakers are really only good for "side" speakers in a 7.1 configuration, and even in that type of configuration I (personally) would not use them. For rear speakers, in-wall or not, I would definitely go with a regular, front-firing speaker.
