The matrix decoding is almost the same as
UHJ
I have a UHJ disc (TAG)
That spins the sound all around the room
and testing it against my UHJ decoder it is almost the same

Hey Ron, you don’t happen to have a photo of Dynamic Latin in UD-4 do you? Thinking maybe the same recording, but different encoding?
I only see a QX for it in discogs-

It is not fair to compare my CD4 demodulator is CD4-1000
a much advanced unit but it is a good unit

I guess some of us, who may never get the opportunity to hear them and are just curios; how UD-4 sounds compared to other more discrete stuff like CD-4. Heck, I feel fortunate to have actually played CD-4 personally, and believe they can sound incredible!
