Now that Apple has started released quad and 5.1 mixes, what unreleased surround mixes should be unlocked from the hard drive and be released?

I want:

Bob Marley - Natty Dread
Miles Davis - Jack Johnson, Bitches Brew 5.1
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Couldn't Stand the Weather
Bytds - 5d
Oasis - Heathen Chemistry, Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
Deep Purple - Made in Japan

Please note that all of these were supposed to be released and supposedly completed. I want this thread to not be a wish list but mixes that were done and not released.

I'll add Elliot Scheiner's completed 5.1 of Pretzel Logic.

Because Fifth Dimension appeared on Tidal as a Sony 360 RA title a couple of weeks ago (not the first previously unreleased 4.0 or 5.1 mix to do so), and since a handful of former 360 titles actually showed up as "Dolby Audio" on Apple Music last week, I think it's not impossible that we could see more such things in the future. (Jack Johnson would be a dream!) So far it's just Sony/BMG, though. Not sure how much hope to hold out for Warner or Universal.

I don't know if Atmos and Sony's Real Audio 360 formats are mutually exclusive, but the Byrds title is available on Tidal in RA360.

A lossy or otherwise degraded copy of a mix doesn't get around copyright law. There's logic in thinking about a degraded copy as no longer the item with the copyright but that's not how it works legally. I could convert a copyrighted file to mono, copy it to a wire recorder and back, and run it through a distortion box, and I'd still get a cease and desist notice if I publicly shared it. Apple streaming isn't about to start liberating bootlegs and get themselves shut down.

(But if they do, I hope one of you is recording the stream that day! :D)

Oh Man ! What a list !!!!!!! I can only dream............

There is supposed to be a Quad Zeit by Tangerine Dream: Tangerine Dream – Zeit (1974, Vinyl)
I see it has been mentioned before (SQ decoding)
Would be great in a dark room

yes it was released on SQ LP and would be very welcome streamed in multichannel, we're also hoping for as many unreleased Quads and 5.1's as possible to be streamed as well 🙂
