Loggins & Messina - Self Titled Album

My Grass Roots tape that I JUST got off of ebay somehow managed to wind itself on the reel BACKWARDS AND UPSIDE DOWN.

I tried fixing it, lost my temper and now it's several hundred feet of garbage.

I am willing to pay $100 dollars (canadian) if anybody can come up with a copy of The Grass Roots 16 Greatest hits in quadraphonic.

Thanks you. I need a Drink.

I <strong>HATE</strong> when that happens. I spent $60 on an eBay Q8, opened it upon receipt and it was a jumbled mess that eventually ended up as a cat toy.

Let me pull out my Q8 of the Grass Roots when I get home, so you won't be disappointed again. If it works, I'll post that fact. You can certainly have it for less than $100! Might you even have something on my want list? I haven't played it for a while and you sound like you need it more than I do. On a historical note, it was the first quad tape I ever bought, so it should go to a good home!

That's why I use the Tascam 388 reel to reel !
I spent many a night with tape ALL over the place ... just picture it ... Tape hanging from the kitchen cabinets and across the table in to the living room over the door handle down the hall way ... Well you get the idea! I have a lot of patients, and got all the loopty- loops un jumbled.It took a long time but patients won out! That happend to me with a q8 of Larry Fast Synergy, I have yet to attack that one!
When I'm in a calmmer state of mind I may give it a go! Now if I can just remember where I put that box..... <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT="">

Looking back on it, I probably could have fixed it if I spread it over my pool table, but my day started at 6am and I didn't get home until after 9pm...... and I really didn't need the aggrivation. *sigh* I should have just put it away and tried again today. I think I need some anger management classes! :lol:

At least I still have the mint condition case, and slip cover......

Let me know what you come up with Marcsten! If it just needs pads and a splice, that's cool. I can scavenge the good pads from mine. Thanks

Ok, I just played the Grass Roots and it could use pads although it played fine, and I didn't play it clear to the end so I don't know if it needs a splice but its in mint condition - no stripes on the tape, or drop outs, etc. It hasn't been played much.
