Finally getting around to a listen. Another country winner from Dutton. Just a real clean, nice sounding version. I'd say, this one maybe doesn't have the warmth that some of the other titles have (Breakaway/Garfunkel) for example, but more the genre than anything.

I really enjoy her cover of "Killing Me Softly With His Song". I'd almost call it beautiful. I guess I'll rate this an 8.
Good stuff!

I'm not a much of a fan of more traditional country music but DV's reasonably priced 2fers are hard to resist!

I enjoyed this more than I had expected. Sound quality is very good to excellent. The surround is rather variable however. Because the instrumentation is sparse in some places the surround becomes almost non-existent. I suppose that they could have added some ambience there to fill out the mix more. At other times with denser instrumentation the mix is fantastic! I'll give it an eight.

As somewhat of a D~V completist, I [reluctantly] added this two~fer to my pile. As I type these words, Dottie is warbling in the background and I genuinely like what I'm hearing. For a country album, great utilization of the surrounds and her country/western accompaniment is just what I needed in these 'trying' times.

I voted an 8!
