I haven't thought about them in a long time. Linda do you remember/know what year that was ? Do you think they were done on the computer or did they get Ray Harryhausen or someone like him to do them with stop motion?
I wonder if people of color would consider them offensive today.

Had a BIG shipment come in yesterday from a city the romans called "Cesar Augusta"... this was my "Xmas gift"!!!
A "Camilo Sesto"FEST!!! all LPs from the 70s and early 80s, Spanish pressings...
(and , YES, apparently he only had this ONE STARE! LOL!)

AAAANDD, of course , one from the "Camilo Sesto" from Newcastle...curiously, this Spanish pressing was NOT on "Virgin vinyl" like most from that era and label...

Have been looking for a CD of New Lovers & Old Friends, an Epic album by Johnny Rivers. My LP is a '75 white label promo from when I worked for CBS. For years, this has been the album I most wanted on CD. No such thing. I meant to burn a CD from the vinyl, but never seemed to get to it.

I ran across Help Me Rhonda, a UK CD, while browsing BGO Records' site. The cover photo caught my eye. The same photo as New Lovers. Turns out, New Lovers was its' title everywhere EXCEPT UK, where it was titled Help Me Rhonda.

It showed up 2 hours ago and I've played it twice. No hit singles, yet one of his best!
