Totally agree with Linda. Crime of the Century was exemplary quality on original LP. 96/24 Blu-Ray is leaps and bounds ahead of that or CD.

I brought the original LP home on the bus the day of release when I was 15. I had worn it out after hundreds of hours loving the album as a whole. Today I got a copy of the 2017 reissue on 180 gram vinyl mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway and pressed in the EU. It is a really impressive pressing. The album has never sounded better.

I never appreciated vinyl until I upgraded my system for M/C. Brought the Technics 1200 out of retirement and slapped on the latest Audio Technica cartridge. Good vinyl just has that sound.....

Arrived yesterday, 40 songs 3 CD's. Liner notes are track listing and production notes.

So picked this up the other day, sealed and #0452 was surprised to get a fairly low number and if you like the Cat man, this 2lp 45 rpm is amazing
a true treat for the ears.

There was also a DBX release of this album that sounds great too.. one other Cat Steven's lp came out on on Dbx.

On another site, OD claims that the SQ masters were used on these CD's. I've never owned 2, but have a US Columbia Q8 & SQ LP of SE 1. We'll see.

CSN (3rd studio album) - Crosby, Stills & Nash SH mastered Gold CD IMHO, their best album.

Not sure, Puppo, which album you're asking about, so I'll talk about both.

The Nilsson album is unreleased material of his recently discovered and Produced by Mark Hudson. All Music review: https://www.allmusic.com/album/losst-and-founnd-mw0003315499

I plan to purchase the Nilsson, being a Nilsson completist. I can't comment on either the recording quality, nor the songs themselves. Hoping it will be released on SACD.

George Russell is a European re-release of a 1961 album. This group featured Don Ellis prior to Ellis' small groups, and later his big band. Recommended.
