Sing it loud and sing it proud, with your best country accent!

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the Queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning

Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding

And I won't forget to put Roses on your grave...

Poor Poor Pitiful Me

Yes he really worked me over good
He was a credit to his gender
Put me through some changes Lord
Sort of like a Waring Blender

Queen with George Michael - Somebody To Love

Just like Queen did at that same venue seven years earlier at Live Aid, George completely stole the show there. And the moment when he lets the crowd sing the a Capella bit, which all 70,000 of them do in perfect unison, is pure magic. You can see the look on Brian May's face right after that happens, he's completely blown away. That performance always puts a smile on my face.

R.I.P. George & Freddie. ❤

Thunder and lightning .....Chi Coltrane... but I have to pull out my 8 track cartridge to hear it....I consider this and Dustys "Son of a preacher man" to be PERFECT SONGS!!!

Constantly...since this Coronavirus debacle became bad:

Steely Dan’s Any Major Dude Will Tell You.

Any minor world that breaks apart
Falls together again
When the demon is at your door
In the morning it won’t be there no more
Any major dude will tell you

Probably my all-time favorite SD song...Well, for this week anyway.

You have to excuse me now because the squonk is nagging me to take him out for his morning poop.

That's my favorite Steely Dan song as well!

But for me, this week the earworm is "Nobody's walking in L.A." (Missing Persons). And yes, it's because I'm thinking too much about the pandemic.

I noticed that Glen Campbell 's "Wichita Lineman" was just added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry. Here's a wonderful 2008 live performance. I think Glen was already feeling the effects of Alzheimer's disease, but his performance was just brilliant.
