I picked up two DVD-A players the other day:JVC XV-SA75GD($129) & Toshiba SD4700($99). Both were open box units and came only with remotes, no cables or manuals. Which one would you guys recomend? Either one would work for me.

I'm not familiar with either unit. Which one do you like better? Keep that one.
Make sure the one you want to keep does everything you may want . Do they read cdr/rw, and any other formats you may want . I know when I got my JVC DVD-A player It said reads cdr and when I got it home and tried it it didn't / and the manual said it didn't, but the add said it did , but I kept it didn't want to go throught the hassle of returning it , and found out it read cdr/w so worked out good to do test burns on cdr/w.
