I want to address a couple ladies!

Stevie Nicks and Janis Joplin.

Guys -

1. Robert Plant
2. Freddy Mercury
3. David Lee Roth
4. Ozzy Osbourne (sorry, I think his Sabbath years were spectacular)
5. Jim Morrison

Obviously, most will not include Ozzy or DLR, most likely. These are my choices, based on my likes. Nothing more.

Seems like Paul McCartney should be on a top 10 list though. :)

Duh, Bon Scott! How the F did I forget him? I might have to yank Diamond Dave, and put Bon in my top 5. Because...he is. :)

Looking at the lists tells me again that I’ve always been partial to groups with more than one lead singer...And I prefer that they be singer/songwriters as well. But I’ll take a stab anyway in no particular order:

Robert Plant
Jim Morrison
Mick Jagger
Ian Gillian
Donald Fagen (post CBAT)
Honorable mention: Steven Wilson (MVP, however, because of his gift to the universe of surround sound remixes)

But if the list was for bands with multiple lead singers (no particular order):
Roger Daltrey/Pete Townsend
John/Paul/George
The Wilson sisters
Tom Johnston/Pat Simmons
McVay/Buckingham/Nicks
Hayward/Lodge/Pinder/Thomas
Lamm/Cetera/Kath
...and the list goes on and on and on
