On page 41 of the May 2004 copy of "Sound & Vision" Magazine, in Mike Mettler's "Road Gear" column, he checks out DVD-A in the 2004 Acura TL. He decided to get an artist whose work has been released on DVD-A, and he got Art Alexakis.
They were both blown away. Art stated that he wanted to go back and mix all of his "records" in surround. He ends with saying that if he "had this sytem in my car, I'd never leave"!
FYI, they played the Everclear DVD-A "So Much for the Afterglow", "Pet Sounds", and the excellent Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" (NOTE: If you guys don't have this one, GET IT NOW!)
Check out the mag, maybe this article is on line somewhere!
