I bought a 3" NOS russian scope tube from a guy in Germany member of Marantz Talk wich fits Marantz 4400, 2600 receiver and possibly other equipments with some adaptation. It costed 90 euro plus 39 euro for shipping with tracking (shippings to my country are always more expensive )
He sent a manual explaining the rewiring operation and calibration and authorized me to share his contact with audio comunity:

Here is the manual

I also found a site selling other 3" tubes, the one used in Mcintosh MPI-4, part number 3RP1-A, seems to be easy to found even in other places, it is chinese, perhaps they are still in production. here is the site http://www.sphere.bc.ca/test/crts.html

PS: Sorry for editing the post, I tried to correct an english error at title and ended without the message text for no reason so i took the opportunity to add more usefull info and commit more english errors.

I still not received the tube due to customs inefficience. But i don't think you will find these same tubes easily and cheaper. They are old russian military surplus and it's almost the same amount i would have spent on that canadian site without any help to adapt.

I received the tubes. I'm saving them for future repairs Years ago i found other cheaper 3" round crt tubes, just googe for crt clocks. I think the electronics technician could try to adapt them too.
