Yes the stereo version is EXTREMELY discrete in DPL MUSIC , I had to make sure since there are totally discrete sounds from the rears...

    History of the pressing...
This is the only time I've been fooled by a record store (or a smartass who switched copies , or a record plant mistake, etc..)-bought this used as a Quad pressing -many years ago, before I got my system- and when I got home it was a STEREO LP!!!
    Oh well.
And, BTW the pressing SUCKS-it's popcorn!!!
    Masterworks my sweet bippie!

Maybe a disguised quad? Check out carefully the run-out groove.
In any case, seems to recall there's a DVD-V of M.S. with the full "4 Butterflies" in surround.

It's also on SQ, but I find it rather distressing to listen to. The music, if you want to call it that, is very weird, in my opinion. I've found that recordings of electronic music, made in stereo, decode into surround quite well via QS or DPL II processors.
Give me surround or give me silence!
