It Has the Normal Reprise Label
There is no QS logo or anything about which Quad system used
That mean on other Lps I have it will be QS
I used the Surround Master and QSD1
By the Way if you want to hear QS at it's best Surround Master also the SQ is as good as the TATE
But I have player it and it is QS I tried to play it CD4 no effect on the CD4100 Demodulator
Just double stereo
I have a other copy coming from Argentina with the label that it had there
I will put both on when I receive it
Ron

Ron, you may just have a stereo LP there that just synthesizes well. A real Reprise quad LP would be CD-4, regardless where it was from. A lot of stereo records sound great when played through a QS decoder. I think that's what's happening here.

No I played it again And there are rear channel solo's
without a pulling effect from the front channels
synthesizing stereo will not give the separation and the display on the scope
you see a there is a solid front image
There are Quad LPs SQ in one country and QS in another
QS and CD4 releases of the same LP
Although I don't know of a CD4 first and then a QS lp
But I have Rick Wakeman Journey To the Centre Of Earth In SQ
But that's what makes it interesting
Ron

Well, any quad LP bearing any of the Warner Music Group labels, of which Reprise is one, will be CD-4. And yes, there are albums that are SQ in some countries, QS in others, and even CD-4 in others. Japan is most known for this, where, for example, many EMI quad albums released in SQ in most of the world are QS in Japan. There are EMI albums that were released as matrixed quad in most of the world that were released in the US in CD-4 by Warner Music.

The usual:

This is a quadraphonic record and can be played without any loss of quality or fidelity in stereo and mono equipment.

Mixed with Sansui QS matrix system

The rest (instruments and players) should be understandable.

"Great Song of The Beatles" (various artists)
SQ Capitol Records from serie "Collector's Limited Edition"

Karajan Conduct Music Of Johann Strauss
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
SQ Angel Records

yes I payed it and display on the Scope and the sound
is very different
Side 1 gives a x display and is very surround
side 2 gives a strait line in the middle of scope and sounds mono
I tested the without LP the Surround Master on and off
