FYI, web seller Red Trumpet is now taking preorders on the first 15 of the Dylan SACDs that are due out on August 19th.

Of interest, they are also offering "packages" of the discs at a further discount.

I already sold off my copy of "Blonde On Blonde". I might have to pick up all the multi-channel releases. Too bad "Hwy 61" isn't one of them.
 
I like that album a lot too, but it is pretty old and almost lucky to be stereo. This is just what SACD needs. Since all of the hype around Dark Side of the Moon has started to fade, I really want to see some more Columbia titles from the quad days.
 
Is that right? Hell, that album isn't even in STEREO on the current CD. And it's all just Bob and guitar (or piano on one song). I'd be interested to see how they make a decent surround mix out of THAT. (Ditto some of the sparcer moments on "Blood on the Tracks.")
