Calling All Canadians - 3rd Group of Living Stereo SACD's

Okay, they may not be true surround MC but I would rather put this here than in "Off Topic". amazon.ca is listing all 10 of the Living Stereo SACD's being released next Tuesday, July 26th for $10.99 each. (amazon.com currently has them listed for $11.99 U.S.) If you open a new amazon.ca account (with a different name and E-Mail address than your current account) you can also take advantage of the coupon code for new customers that gives you $10 off a $50 order. The coupon code is MAPSUMMERNEW. When you take into account the free shipping for orders over $39, the discs work out to $9.99 Canadian each pre tax. This is about as cheap as you are going to get them. HMV has the current 20 titles already released for 2 for $20 which is the same price but it is not known whether they will have a deal on the 3rd set of titles to be released and this way you don't have to make the trek to the store. Perhaps so in Canada. In the U.S., I've seen the previous groups of RCA Living Stereo SACDs for $7.98 at the Tower Records stores.

We'll see how the pricing goes in this round on Tuesday.

That's the cheapest I have seen them here. We always have to take the exchange rate into account and $8 U.S with exchange is pretty much $10 Cdn. So to me these prices quoted are the same. Isn't it great we can get some marvelous soundung historical recordings for such a low price.

Got all 10 yesterday. I have only listened to the Piano Concerto's with Van Cliburn. Awesome sound and Van Cliburn was an equally awesome pianist when you listen to him doing Rachmaninoffs 3rd. Can't wait to hear the other 9.

BTW -after all my talk about amazon.ca I actually cancelled that order and went down to HMV to pick them up. Same price. I just hate waiting.
