There seems to be a problem with the mc layer of this disc (at least as far as my Pioneer 747 player is concerned). At 1.21 of track 4 on disc 1 there's a loud crackling and the disc stops. Track 5 is also not recognised and stops at 0.00. The cd and SACD stereo layers seem fine so it looks as though this might be a coding or compatability problem as the disc surface seems to be fine.

There is a blurb on the Mute Records site saying they have acknowledged a problem with the disc and are working on a solution.

"Mute UK have been alerted that there is a fault on the SACD disc. They
are aware of the problem, and are working to fix it. Watch the site for
further updates on this situation"
