Bought this for NZ$25.00 from a second hand shop here in New Zealand.
As you can see by photo it was really dusty inside - see finger marks at top of metalwork !!! took me a weekend to clean/calibrate - add some more heat paste to the thermistors on the rear heatsink (to set quiescent current up) used plenty of Deoxide for switches/pots etc.
Has one scrarch on the front panel - about 25mm long above the right meter, other than that it is quite rare here in NZ.
I now have 1 x 4VN-550, 1 x 4VN-770, 2 x 4VN880, 1 x 4VN990, 2 x remotes.
3 of the smaller PCBs (one on the rear not shown in photos) are also used on the 4VN-880 model - but on the 880 they are plugged in, here they are wire-wrapped (but still have edge connector fingers).
I do not have a service manual for the 770 & was wondering if someone can tell me what the missing components do (C450 & R489) on the 3rd photo
