Kenwood KR-9340 quad....Rear side distortion

Hi friends,

I recently acquired a KENWOOD KR-9340 quad receiver with issues.
The REAR side output is less in volume as compared to the FRONT SIDE.

Also, the sound produced from the REAR SIDE is slightly garbled with distortion.

Any ideas as to what the issue may be??... I have not cleaned any of the controls yet. Any suggestions/cleaning recommendations that may help???

Get a big can from ebay, or amazon. I had a sub my kids use and it always exhibited noise from the volume control, a raspy awaful noise and it would not work at low volume. It works now! after 8 yrs of tolerating noise, we almost tossed it out.
Then, I used it on all my interconnects all this red crap came off them. Then on an old eq that I thought was toasted, brought it back to life.
