I've just seen this thread asking for a operating manual for a JVC 4VR 5456, I have one of the 4VR 5456X amp/ receivers. Did you ever obtain the manual you were after? I can always scan mine, but it is a multi page affair, so let me know before I spend 30 mins doing it.
