New Joni Geffen title...

Musictap has (sparse) info on a new Joni Mitchell disc that looks to be 96/24, with four discs on one. Anybody else see any details on this? Sounds great if it's true, stereo or (ideally) MC!

This is her "Geffen Box", the 4 CDs she released whil on that label (Dog Eat Dog, Night Ride Home, etc)

I did not hear that they were to be DVD-A's as well. This might be a mistake, maybe they as HDCDs.

The hdcd thing would make sense because all my Joni Mitchell discs are hdcd's from Blue forward.

According to an interview in the recent ICE magazine, these will be more-or-less straight reissues of the original CDs, with a couple of bonus cuts added here and there. The label-type said that the original tapes of the albums had hardly been touched, and that the box is essentially a "flat remaster" of the four titles.

I just checked the only Joni Mitchell dvd-a that I have "Both Sides Now" and it is also HDCD as are any Chip Beck "Manheim Steamroller" dvd-a's or cd's.
