I clicked on the advert on top of the page and this page came up: http://store.acousticsounds.com/index.cfm?get=results&coupon=18
Don't see any dsd files there :(.

That's disappointing.

A tip - the Native DSD web site usually launches a week long sale of some of their new DSD releases every Friday in the Native DSD Newsletter. To get first notice of the deals on DSD, you can subscribe to the newsletter by providing your email address on their home page at http://www.nativedsd.com. See screenshot below:

Well, time to consider one of the iDSD Nano DACs for Headphone listening to DSD and PCM files ($189) or an Oppo 103 or 105 disc player for Stereo and Multichannel DSD files.

I recently bought a Marantz universal player so buying an Oppo now would result in a serious quarrel with the better half :) and I never use a headphone so I guess I have to live with it for now.

Next time, maybe an Oppo disc player or a Marantz that also includes a DSD DAC to play the DSD Downloads on the market now - and some of the ones coming later this year! :)

Well, I've discovered my Marantz won't play these silly FLAC files. Is there a way to convert FLAC to WAV?

• This unit can play back the following files.
• WMA (Windows Media Audio)
• MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3)
• WAV
• AAC (Advanced Audio Codec)

I think Audiomuxer can do that ( http://www.surroundbyus.com/sbu/viewtopic.php?p=788 ). Just tried and it can :) .What type Marantz do you have if I may ask?

This thread will cover playing Stereo DSD Downloads - including DSD 64fs (single rate DSD, SACD resolution), DSD 128fs (double rate DSD) and DSD 256fs (quad rate DSD).

According to Crutchfield, the Marantz SA 8005 can also play DSD 64fs (Single Rate DSD) and DSD 128fs (Double Rate DSD) files in Stereo when the SA 8005 is connected to a laptop or desktop computer.

rear-panel asynchronous USB input (type B) for audio playback of stored computer or streaming music files, including high-res files up to 24-bit/192 kHz PCM and 2.8 & 5.6 MHz DSD (Windows® and Mac compatible)

You're correct about those two DSD formats. I can play those both with no problem. It's FLAC I can't play. And to answer the question above, yes, I used FAT formatting.
