Q4: Marantz Reference 4ch Reel to Reel ???

I found this photo on the net, I have never seen this unit before does anyone know anything about it, what a great-looking machine.

Wow! Are we sure that this is a quad machine. looking at the switches and labeling I'm wondering if stereo only. One set of meters for playback the other for recording? The speed switch looks like 15 and 30ips!

The digital counter is very cool it would have to from later in the seventies or early eighties even.

It looks like you are right it is a Stereo unit, I investigated it further and the photo came from a Marantz Museum.

The speeds are 19 and 38, That would be cms. That works out to 7.5 and 15ips.
