RCVR: Sansui QRX-999

Well it powers up and plays sometimes. Volume was very faint on the phono side, almost like it needed a preamp. I plugged a CD player into it and it came around for a while, then started cutting out and finally the right channel went dead. I think maybe cleaning the pots will restore that, I hope. Have not checked the ability to support quad yet, no point until I clean out the inside. Since I have never had to do a deep clean on a receiver, any cleaning tips are appreciated. Is Deoxit the best or any other contact cleaner preferred?

"We have finished with your QRX999, a very nice unit. We will be testing it for 4-5 more days. It's functioning perfectly now, I'll let you know if any problems show up.

My wife does not understand, and I will need to be very nice to her for a while...
