As a long time Steve Miller Band fan, I always get bummed out when he does a release that does not have surround as I feel his early catalog begs for surround.
I have heard him say that he owns all his music, so in the end he just isn't into it?
THIS NEW 3LP RELEASE BOX SET
is expensive and I don't see a CD companion.
I guess Fly Like An Eagle will remain a one off?
This QQ 2006 thread offered hope, but obviously false hope. Note original link that @JonUrban posted not available anymore, but reactions are cool to read.

I'd expect that there will be a corresponding CD/BD (?) I'll be in for that.

There are 3 surround Miller albums:
Q8/DTS CD and 5.1 DVD.v of Eagle
Q8 of Joker

Book of Dreams was recorded at same sessions as Eagle, so it's possible that there are unreleased Quad mixes of those?!? (my speculation)

I'm a lifelong Miller fan. Stories around Mad City (aka Isthmus) are legend of the Ardells: Miller, Scaggs & Ben Sidran. Complete on all three of those guys!!

I'm in for any new or unreleased Miller.

Here's Ben Sidran live w/some Space Cowboy (bet you didn't think he'd be back!)
