The Monkees : Summer Tour Live

This is apparently a live concert disc of the Monks (minus Nesmith) from earlier in the decade? It boasts a 5.1 DTS and DD soundtrack. Now come on, someone out there has to admit to having it....how is the surroundness of it? Typical concert mix or is there anything of a surprise in the rear channels? :yikes John S.

While I don't claim to have Summer Tour Live, I have recently read that the Blu-Ray rerelease of the Monkees' imfamous movie "Head" (rated G) will have a 5.1-channel DTS-Master Audio track as an option. Certainly the original stems for the music still exist (having heard some remixes). "Head" will be available in December as part of a Criterion Collection boxed set.

For those who have never seen the movie "Head" by the Monkees, it is pretty much a Monkees bad day where everyone is out to get them. And, to paraphrase Tim McCarver (who was talking about a baseball game), "(The movie) ends the way it started before it began."
