Greetings

Many years ago I found in my ECG catalog they made a 28 pin
chip for CD-4 decoding,it was a ECG 813.
I bought a couple and spent several years trying to make them
work.
A schematic was in the Cat. but something was shown wrong.
I wrote to them, but all they had on file was the same drawing
and nobody knew where it came from.
After dozens of attempts and acouple of years I think I found
the error in the schematic.
After I got them working the results was disappointing.
While separation was great stability and noise were problematic.

When I wrote for info, I suggested this was probably a poor seller
since (as far as I know, no consumer decoders used it and how
or where could I get them at a reduced cost(they were expensive)
Again they were no help.
One day I realized they were gone (ECG) and NTE doesn't show it.
I've wondered what was done with all those dogs NTE didn't
carry in to their CAt.
